 Lactation cookies contain ingredients called galactagogues like oats, brewers yeast and flaxseed that are historically known to increase or support breastmilk supply.

Oats - Possesses amazing health properties in addition to being a super galactagogue. They are high in fibre, B vitamins, manganese, phosphorous and magnesium, they are seen as a ‘nourishing’ grain and also a ‘carminative’ in the herbal world. Studies have also shown that oats assist in appetite control (they are a low glycaemic whole grain and help keep you fuller for longer) and weight loss/maintenance. They contain natural phytochemicals (plant chemicals) that improve the immune system defences, they may reduce the incidence of type 2 diabetes, lower blood pressure and help  to lower cholesterol.

Brewer's Yeast - A good source of iron, chromium and selenium, brewer's yeast also contains several B vitamins, though not B-12. Brewer's yeast has a history of use as a galactagogue.

Flaxseed - High in omega-3 and dietary fibre. It contains calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc and potassium.

Although our goodies are completely safe to consume any time during your pregnancy, we usually recommend starting consistently from around 35-36 weeks. This is especially the case if you are planning on expressing colostrum before your baby arrives.

Most mums find that 1-2 cookies a day is all they need! Every mama's body is different so if you need to adjust from this amount per day - go right ahead! You might even find yourself sneaking a couple extra cookies anyway...just because they taste SO DAMN GOOD!

Made to Milk cookies are each individually heat sealed to maintain maximum freshness and have a shelf life of six months from their bake date. We bake our cookies fresh every week so you can be guaranteed to receive the freshest batch possible!

Made to Milk Deluxe Cookie Packet Mixes are also heat sealed and have a shelf life of at least 9-12 months. Once baked, the cookies can then be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or the freezer for up to 3 months.

 Our Deluxe Hot Drink range have 18-24 months shelf life so they are perfect to pop in the pantry for back up!

Results vary for individuals however feedback from most mums is that they have noted an increase in supply within 1-3 days. For some, it is a noticeable increase within a few hours and for others it can be a slow build over a number of days while consistently using our products.

We ship via Australia Post and both standard and express post are available. Standard Shipping flat rate is $11 for orders below $150 and FREE standard shipping is available for orders over $150.

Once your order has been fulfilled by our team, you will receive a fulfilment email with your order details. This email will include a tracking number and a link to our tracking page.

Click on the tracking number link to track your order.

Tracking information may not be immediately available after your order is placed. It can take up to 12 hours for the number to become active in our system. If you don't see any updates right away, please be patient and check back later.

If no one was home at the time of delivery, the carrier will leave the package in a safe location.

Be sure to check around your home and with neighbors/building management who may have collected the package for you.

Also, please double-check the shipping address of your order (in the order confirmation email) to ensure it’s headed to the right location.

On some occasions, packages may be marked as delivered but take additional time to arrive.

Orders can only be canceled before they have been dispatched. If your order has already been shipped, please refer to our return policy for further instructions.

Lactation Food Products:

We love our Made to Milk mamas and want to reassure you that if an item is defective, we will accept a return of the item along with a full refund or replacement. Please let Made to Milk know of any defective goods within 3 days of receipt of purchase.

All refunds completed through Afterpay will be less Afterpay's fees as this is charged to us regardless of whether your order is refunded.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund for change of mind after purchase. Maybe a fellow milking mumma might appreciate some cookie goodness? Made to Milk products make great gifts!
